For people who visit this site for the first time, please let me explain about "One word a day Japanese Lesson".

As this title says, you can learn One Japanese word a day.

The words are casual and there are also sentences you can use to Japanese people straight away.

Example

Kono mikan wa totemo suppai(desu).

This orange is so sour.

kono=this
mikan=orange
totemo=so

Suppa sugiru(sugimasu).

It's too sour.

..sugiru=too...

Suppai tabemono ga suki(desu).

I like sour food.

tabemono=food

suki=like

Suppakatta(desu).

It was sour.

ano=that

Suppa sugi wa shinakatta(desu).

It wasn't too sour.

*Explanation of polite form
The words with green color in the bracket are polite form. For example, if only the word in bracket is green such as 'ureshii(desu) ', you can just put 'desu' after 'ureshii' so this word's polite form is '
ureshii desu'.

But if the word in the bracket and also the word before the bracket is green such as 'suteki
da(desu)', you need to change 'da' into 'desu' so this word's polite form is 'suteki desu'.
