For people who visit this site for the first time, please let me explain about "One word a day Japanese Lesson".

As this title says, you can learn One Japanese word a day.

The words are casual and there are also sentences you can use to Japanese people straight away.

Examples

Kono kohee wa koi (desu).

This coffee tastes strong.

kono=this

kohee=coffee

Koi suupu ga nomi tai(desu).

I want to drink thick soup.

suupu=soup
nomu=drink
...tai=want to...

Mouchotto koi midori ga suki(desu).

I like a bit deeper green.

mouchotto=a bit more

suki=like

Kono ocha wa ko sugi(desuka)?

Is this tea too strong?

kono=this
ocha=tea
...sugiru=too...

Koi aka no bara o ikutsuka kudasai.

Please give me some deep red roses.

aka=red
bara=rose
ikutsuka=some
...kudasai=please give me...

*Explanation of polite form
The words with green color in the bracket are polite form. For example, if only the word in bracket is green such as 'ureshii(desu) ', you can just put 'desu' after 'ureshii' so this word's polite form is '
ureshii desu'.

But if the word in the bracket and also the word before the bracket is green such as 'suteki
da(desu)', you need to change 'da' into 'desu' so this word's polite form is 'suteki desu'.
